The Beta Pant is a lightweight and versatile waterproof shell pant designed for hiking, climbing and changing mountain conditions. It provides reliable protection from rain and wind while remaining comfortable and packable enough to carry as an emergency outer layer.
The three-layer 80-denier GORE-TEX ePE fabric delivers waterproof, windproof and breathable protection. Its recycled nylon face provides durability, while the lightweight ePE membrane is made without intentionally added PFAS.
A soft GORE C-KNIT backer improves breathability and next-to-skin comfort. The FC0 DWR treatment helps moisture bead away from the outer surface and is also made without intentionally added PFAS.
Three-quarter-length separating side zippers provide ventilation and allow the pants to be pulled on or removed over hiking shoes and boots. Articulated shaping supports unrestricted movement, and the low-profile stretch waistband fits comfortably beneath a backpack hip belt or climbing harness.
Laminated instep patches protect high-wear areas from abrasion and cuts. A zippered thigh pocket stores small essentials, while the integrated RECCO reflector can assist search-and-rescue teams during emergencies.
