Nettingundertøy er mye brukt på kalde ekspedisjoner og av Forsvaret, og det er ikke uten grunn: Ved høy aktivitet produserer kroppen svette for å kjøle deg ned. Nettingens unike konstruksjon gir få kontaktpunkter mot huden; dermed får du luftsirkulasjon samtidig som damp og overskuddsvarme fraktes vekk fra kroppen.
