The Genesis 2 GORE-TEX Spike is built for winter trail running when wet ground, snow and ice call for extra protection and grip. Tungsten-carbide studs add bite on icy sections, while the Matryx upper combines support with low weight. Salomon’s activeCHASSIS supports a stable ride over uneven ground. Studded shoes are best suited to winter terrain; hard indoor floors can feel less comfortable and may be slippery.
